Helen Guissane

Helen has had a lifelong interest in health & wellness – from homeopathy to yoga! Her interest in natural health led her to her first encounter with yoga – commencing an Astanga practice in 1999. Helen’s yoga practice really deepened in 2005 when she undertook a 6-month Baron Baptiste Vinyasa teacher training programme in the United States. It was at this point that the other benefits began to also materialise – a deep inner mental strength and a true inner peace. Continuing to learn more day after day, yoga has taught Helen that not everything is a competition and more often the joy comes from surrendering.
